Bob Dylan is considered, by many, to be one of the greatest songwriters of all the time. Apparently, he could have also coached some Eat the Captain Defense. The thought that Chaos is a friend is certainly a big element in our defense.
We have several different pressure concepts. One of those concepts is to blitz one linebacker to a target and then have one or even two players from a second or third level position blitz from depth and read a lineman (Wolverine Technique).
Chaos is a favorite Wolverine type pressure and is used to defend RPO schemes and personnel based run schemes. We bring a safety that is reading an offensive tackle and the MLB blitzes and reads the center. We play a 2 down 2 deep zone behind the pressure. Here is a video explaining the pressure and showing examples.
